A graduate of the Beaux Arts de Bourges, Fabien Boitard lives and works in Aniane. He develops a figurative painting based on the polyfacture: blur, net, color, non-color, the throw, the pose, the erased, etc.. everything that characterizes a symbolism, induces a specific gesture, a pure form, falling under an identifiable choice. These different invoice reports affirm his desire to guarantee total subjectivism. Claude Lévèque invited him in 2015 for the collective exhibition "Genre Humain" in Bourges at the Palais Jacques Cœur. Fabian is
supported by the DRAC, exhibited and collected by the FRAC Occitanie.
Fabien Boitard has participated in numerous residencies (Marseille, New York, Romania, etc.) and in the Territoire #SOL biennial in 2021 at the MO.CO in Montpellier. He co-founded in 2003 with Olivia Mauron the association "LA CIT", a contemporary art association intended to show art in
rural environment. Fabien Boitard is represented by the Benjamin Derouillon Gallery in Paris.
