Clémentine Fort is an associate artist at Bel Ordinaire and a founding member of the Maison des Éditions collective. Since 2005, she has been developing a body of work that combines sculpture, photography, and writing. Her work has been exhibited at Villa Empain in Brussels, L'Assaut de la Menuiserie in Saint-Étienne, the Samadet Ceramics Museum, the Collectors' Trail in Paris, and ActOral in Marseille.
Currently, Clémentine Fort's artistic research focuses on actively and renewedly questioning the notion of the decorative in the broad sense: that which embraces architecture, interior decoration but also the history of art.
The work she has been able to carry out over the last two years uses, to recompose them, the graphic vocabularies of modes of circulation and journeys in specific areas. The result of this research has given rise to an exhibition in three movements: in Bordeaux at the Continuum space, in Pau at the Bel Ordinaire, in Bayonne at Station V.
